A post for spooky season?
Well, considering the finale dropped just today, I think there is truly no better a topic for this years spooky post than Agatha All Along.
The Blogification Of My Fandom Fixations
It’s Random Rambles.
There is no schedule. There is no format. They are random and they are rambles. Whether one appears on the feed or not is up for debate each and every week, and we shall all just have to cope with that.
Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy them, and have fun, and stick around for whenever the next one may be.
Warning: these posts are just FILLED with Spoilers.
A post for spooky season?
Well, considering the finale dropped just today, I think there is truly no better a topic for this years spooky post than Agatha All Along.
One year ago today the first post went up on this blog and it has been a learning curve since but when I am very glad I started.
It feels right that something should be done for the occasion but I wasn’t really sure what I was going to post to commemorate it.
To that point, I’ve got some announcements.
Look. It’s not a common trend, but it’s a trend irritating enough to bug me nonetheless.
Some shows focus a lot around keeping a secret. Whether it’s for protection, out of fear, a necessity. The secret is there. They will dedicate whole episodes to reinforcing that this secret is necessary, construct season long arcs around ensuring it’s security.
All I’m saying, is that said secret should not be revealed IN THE SERIES FINALE.
The first episode of Carmilla dropped ten years ago today and so I give you this post in celebration. As is only right for a show that has meant so much to me.
I’d seen clips occasionally as my socials took me deeper and deeper into this very deep and vast fandom, but did not find out where they came from until I was researching for my last post… and well, I wouldn’t say I’m disappointed.
Short, sweet and a bit of a ramble.
Daisy Johnson. July 2nd.
It’s spooky season, right? Not only that, it’s Halloween!
My personal dislike of scary movies leads my spooky night viewing to be a kids movie from over a decade ago. That length of time alone is scary enough. I say dislike… I don’t do scary, okay? I prefer my heart to stay within my chest, and my soul within my body. Movies should be calming, or at worst tear-inducing.
So, as with all Random Rambles installations we’re going to just dive into this one and see where it takes us.
So, I realise I am late to this party, but in this past week, according to my fandom based socials, two things have celebrated a birthday.
As it goes with Random Rambles there is zero structure, so take a peak and dive in with me!
Oh, and this is Not Spoiler Free. It will, however, plead with you to watch it. So, if you don’t mind a lightly spoiled convincing, read right ahead. If you’ve watched it before and just want a list of reasons why you should watch it again? Fairly certain I’ve accomplished that too.
Now admittedly I am a little late to the party with this one, but having seen all the wonderful edits that some of my favourite fan accounts have been posting this week, it felt only right that I contribute a little myself. For this show holds such a place in my little fandom heart.
