I don’t have an intro for this. What do you even say?
This was post was written basically immediately after watching Episode 810: “His Name Was Martin”, it was intended to be the first half of a post that would discuss the episode in conjunction with Episode 811: “Aftermath” but instead I wrote a 30 minute post on just the one episode and posted it as a standalone. We will surely be discussing 811 next week.
As, one show has brought me back to my keyboard. The lovely, the wonderful and ongoing, The Rookie, and while a Complete Comments is right around the corner for you, written for when I caught up to this delightful show, two months of watching this show later and I am still on my shit about it so it’s getting a Catch-Up because I feel deranged, I gotta talk and I feel like sparing my friends some rambles.
Regardless of one’s internal struggles a long awaited series premiered yesterday. So, let’s set aside the fact I’ve been gone for way over a month…

A little late, but it was entirely intentional so we could talk about this episode. It’s heavy, it’s hefty. Wow, it was a lot this week, huh?

We are a week late. I know this. I see this. I blame circumstance. It’s also the fiftieth post… and it’s just a catch-up. Nothing…
Look, it’s a blog post weekend, and I did some travelling this weekend and so to be perfectly honest… I forgot. No. Really.
My atrocious memory aside; let’s recap, shall we?
Something’s made me laugh, and I’m assuming something will make me cry. Let’s talk about.
I was all set to be written and published in time for the new episodes of 9-1-1 – at least their US release, anyways – and then I was rudely interrupted by issues of the tech variety. Nevertheless having finally remedied those I am hastily writing this on my Thursday night – and by that I mean typing up the draft I already had, so you’ll have to excuse my possibly outdated theories – and just hoping I get it out before the episode drops.
Okay, only a little late, so it’s fine. No problem. I had a busy weekend, but time makes itself and so here we are.
I first thought that I should do something with a love focus if not a valentines focus for this weekend, it was so perfectly timed, but now we’ve surpassed that.
