The Blogification Of My Fandom Fixations
With the Catch-Up posts developing as they are I wanted to put the other Fortnightly Fixation posts in their own category, just so they’re all in one place to be found separate from the Catch-Up posts.
So, this is just to collate all the posts for the series and movies I have looked at on a deeper level having completed them, loved them, and enjoyed them.
It’s been months. I know this. Actually I’m assuming the little of you that were reading are not there anymore and we’re starting from the bottom. Which is okay.
Right now, I have a new show in mind. One so good it brought me back to the keyboard. So, let’s discuss – and join in all the hype – The Rookie.
Anyways, guess what we’re discussing? I watched The Rookie and Lucy Chen was my favourite so the next logical conclusion was watching Dark Matter, which I discovered in the same week I started it and watched it very very fast. It’s not that long and it is very good.
So let’s dive in, shall we?
When I tell you this is being written massively ahead of time, because I am currently prioritising other posts in the schedule, I mean it….
Written after the finale dropped, lets take a look at the downhill slide of Season 8 of this once wonderful series.
It’s not late.
Now that we’ve covered that, let’s discuss, shall we? See, as a result of this being not late I have finished Buffy the Vampire Slayer – with only a little procrastination as I reached the end of this wonderful masterpiece. So, we have much to discuss.
Is this… sort of, vaguely, on time? Well, damn, it’s a Christmas Miracle.
Over the last week I have watched numerous cheesy Christmas films. However, at the end of this week I don’t find myself leaning towards writing about any of those.
Instead, as I thought about this post, I found myself thinking about Carmilla. So, given that this year marked 10 Years since this wonderful little webseries dropped on the internet, perhaps there is no better a festive season than this one to take a look at that lovely, short and sweet as it is, Christmas Special.
It’s that time of the week again which means I am a little late on a post, but at least it’s here before the weekend, and we get to dive into what I’ve been up to this week. Which, as those caught up will notice is not consistent with where we were last. Do not fret, it has not been abandoned.
Last week, it would’ve been another Catch-Up post but in a completely not shocking turn of events I did finish the whole series in the last week, so you get this instead. It’s not nearly everything I could possibly say about this show I love so much… but it’s a little something. Something that would’ve probably appeared in the Catch-Up but as we’re done, why not do it justice?
Okay, yes, this post is late… but! As a benefit to that it does mean this post can be about the one and only Doctor Who.
I have been watching the episodes weekly, and now that I’ve watched the season finale. Let’s discuss, shall we?
Guess what? It took me about a year but after hours of patiently falling in love, and crying my eyes out to these nerds I have finished Campaign One: Vox Machina. I am excited to get on to Campaign Two, watch the whole gang of the Might Nein again and finally finish their stories, but… holy hell do I need a minute to recover.
