I planned to talk about Rizzoli & Isles today, the show I spent the last three weeks binging in all my free time.
Right now, instead of Rizzoli & Isles, I’m going to talk about NCIS.
The Blogification Of My Fandom Fixations
As interests tend to vary so will my posts, and so welcome to Fortnightly Fixations, in which I intend to post about whatever fandom has tickled my fancy over the past two weeks. Whatever may pop up that week, I hope for it to be an interesting read, and I hope you will join me as I dive into whichever TV Show or Film may peak my interest that fortnight.
These posts may range from an update on what I’m currently watching, to an in depth review of something I recently finished. I’ll be sure to tag for spoilers, and give you a warning as they come, but this blog is likely to be far from spoiler free at most turns.
New Posts will come every other Friday.

Guess what? It took me about a year but after hours of patiently falling in love, and crying my eyes out to these nerds I have finished Campaign One: Vox Machina. I am excited to get on to Campaign Two, watch the whole gang of the Might Nein again and finally finish their stories, but… holy hell do I need a minute to recover.
Are you surprised?
Their campaigns are ages long. It’s taken me over a year to get here. Regardless, we’re going to be brief this week.
Critical Role has once again enamoured me. I started Critical Role before I started this blog, and in many ways it is my love for them that was the trigger for The BOMFF’s creation.
Right now, though! TMA’s completion aside and comments, I assure you, eventually to come. This week we’re circling back to two posts ago and commenting on 9-1-1.
Okay. I finished 9-1-1 this past fortnight, I did. However, I then moved on to The Magnus Archives within days and I am now waist deep in its eery horror, taking up more and more space in my obsessive brain.
It’s been a slow week. I have stuff lined up to write, stuff I want to watch, stuff I need to watch… and none of it feels right at the moment. None of it is hitting that spot, ya know?
So, where do we turn? Somewhere new and classic all at the same time.
Happy New Year, guys! I hope you had a good holidays and will have a good New Year.
We are starting the blog off strong this year with a brief look at the Christmas Specials, because to my disappointment I’ve not actually watched much of anything else since last I posted. So, into this we go!
It’s Christmas! Well, it’s the festive season, and very nearly Christmas.
I rewatch this Trilogy almost every year for the fun of it, and their sweet, and pretty, and more so a just cute little Christmas movie that’s calming. There’s no real threat there, nothing to leave you biting your fingers. They’re easy Christmas viewing. I don’t do easy very often, but I do enjoy this Trilogy enough to revisit it each year.
Look, I cannot be deemed responsible for the Specials featuring David Tennant’s return to the role of The Doctor coming out at the same time I was trying to finish Blindspot. So, no, I did not finish Blindspot this past two weeks. I did, however, with unbelievable amounts of commitment, finally, much to some of my friends and family’s glee, catch up on, Doctor Who.
