The Blogification Of My Fandom Fixations
Okay, yes, this post is late… but! As a benefit to that it does mean this post can be about the one and only Doctor Who.
I have been watching the episodes weekly, and now that I’ve watched the season finale. Let’s discuss, shall we?
I don’t know how to explain once more that I have been so unfocused my fixations are drifting. There is no one thing to write about because I have watched like 5-10 different things in the past two weeks.
Free time does not always mean focus. As it turns out. I have been a bit all over the place yet again these last two weeks, which as we’ve discovered makes Fortnightly Fixation posts… interesting, to say the least.
So, dive into a Catch-Up of the mess that has been my last two weeks of viewing
We have been a bit unfocused this last fortnight. I have been busy with work, my free time has been less than usual and my attention has been all over the place. So, we have, in short, watched a variety of things.
I know this is late. I apologise.
Six seasons in two weeks? I’m impressed with myself. I knew I watched fast, but damn.
Perhaps not something to be proud of, but I am nonetheless. My fellow binge-watcher’s will get it.
I planned to talk about Rizzoli & Isles today, the show I spent the last three weeks binging in all my free time.
Right now, instead of Rizzoli & Isles, I’m going to talk about NCIS.
Guess what? It took me about a year but after hours of patiently falling in love, and crying my eyes out to these nerds I have finished Campaign One: Vox Machina. I am excited to get on to Campaign Two, watch the whole gang of the Might Nein again and finally finish their stories, but… holy hell do I need a minute to recover.
Are you surprised?
Their campaigns are ages long. It’s taken me over a year to get here. Regardless, we’re going to be brief this week.
Critical Role has once again enamoured me. I started Critical Role before I started this blog, and in many ways it is my love for them that was the trigger for The BOMFF’s creation.
Right now, though! TMA’s completion aside and comments, I assure you, eventually to come. This week we’re circling back to two posts ago and commenting on 9-1-1.
