Catch-Up #5: 9-1-1

It’s been a slow week. I have stuff lined up to write, stuff I want to watch, stuff I need to watch… and none of it feels right at the moment. None of it is hitting that spot, ya know?

So, where do we turn? Somewhere new and classic all at the same time.

The Christmas Fluff of a Snowy Rom-Com: A Christmas Prince Trilogy

It’s Christmas! Well, it’s the festive season, and very nearly Christmas.

I rewatch this Trilogy almost every year for the fun of it, and their sweet, and pretty, and more so a just cute little Christmas movie that’s calming. There’s no real threat there, nothing to leave you biting your fingers. They’re easy Christmas viewing. I don’t do easy very often, but I do enjoy this Trilogy enough to revisit it each year.

Catch-Up #3: Doctor Who

Look, I cannot be deemed responsible for the Specials featuring David Tennant’s return to the role of The Doctor coming out at the same time I was trying to finish Blindspot. So, no, I did not finish Blindspot this past two weeks. I did, however, with unbelievable amounts of commitment, finally, much to some of my friends and family’s glee, catch up on, Doctor Who.

Catch-Up #2: Blindspot

Look, It’s only been a week.

Yes, we’re still on Blindspot.

There was absolutely no way I was going to finish the over two full seasons worth of episodes I had to watch before I had to write another post. If I could hibernate and just watch episodes without ever having to leave my room or socialise, perhaps I could’ve, I, however, have stuff to do, unfortunately.

Catch-Up #1: Blindspot

So, we’re trying something new. I know. Scary, but sometimes you have to mix things up.

The intent here? They’re still part of the FF post schedule, same tab, same category. The point is brevity. If it’s a new show, you’ll get the usual boring bits, and after that it’s just, as the name implies, a catch up. The explorations of a show to come when I’ve finished it.

So, let’s dive in.

Vampiric Familial Love: Hotel Transylvania

It’s spooky season, right? Not only that, it’s Halloween!

My personal dislike of scary movies leads my spooky night viewing to be a kids movie from over a decade ago. That length of time alone is scary enough. I say dislike… I don’t do scary, okay? I prefer my heart to stay within my chest, and my soul within my body. Movies should be calming, or at worst tear-inducing.

So, as with all Random Rambles installations we’re going to just dive into this one and see where it takes us.
