Not missed! Just egregiously late.
I finally watched the new season of Heartstopper this past week, through many tears, as warned, so, let’s take a brief look at that shall we?
SPOILERS
(But you knew that)

Heartstopper and Tears
I have been online all month, I had seen the posts and the memes, and occasionally a spoiler. Having not yet read the books, anything that happens, or I see is rumoured to happen, is largely of a surprise to me, but the internet doth talk. I knew this season was… sad… I was, nevertheless, unprepared.
I watched the majority of Season 3 in one sitting, and from Episode 2 and for the next few episodes onwards I was just… bawling. Pile of tissues next to me, tear stains on my cheeks, ugly cry bawling.
It was very well done, but holy shit did it hurt. There is no words I was just simply in tears.
So, this season was great. From beginning to end every moment was scripted, acted and shot brilliantly. No notes. I really like what they’ve done with it. And despite it’s subject matter for so much of the season, it ended on a light note. (Though we must know what unfolds next, please, we beg)
Other Ventures
Turns out I don’t have much more to say about Heartstopper at this juncture, perhaps in the future, so quickly lets cover the other loves I have watched as well.
Been on a bit of a loss lately, but I have feverishly been watching some Critical Role again! I know after completing Campaign 1 in March, it’s really been – some – time, but perhaps The Legend of Vox Machina had me feeling it again… so we picked them up again, binged just all the things between the Campaigns, and finally, last weekend, started Campaign 2 again. I have been very excited about it, because, damn, had I missed The Mighty Nein, but it is fantastic to be watching them again.
We are only in the early episodes at the moment, but when the time arises, we do so watch them as fast as I can (which at their length, is not particulary fast). Break here and there to watch things shorter, like Heartstopper, but we power through. I do love The Mighty Nein.
I forgotten how… not tedious, persay, but slower paced, perhaps, those low level D&D games can be. The game I DM has players at 10th Level, and I had, for so many months, been watching Vox Machina at their top levels, and now here we are again at Level 2 and everything just feels… smaller. They’ll grow past it, I do know this, having watched about the first 30 episodes way back when I initially started watching Critical Role. Campaign 2 is where I met them, before deciding to watch from the start. I know at least the early places of where they’ll go, and have seen some spoilers for the later places. There is a lot to come… and I cannot wait.
One of these days I will catch up. One day!

To Conclude
And I think that about covers us for this week. I very short post I know, but the point is despite it’s sheer lateness, it has not been missed.
So it is up! And it is there!
Thank you for reading this very brief catch-up, and I hope you’ll join me for the next post whenever that may be.
